We seek to prevent veteran suicide through community awareness, camaraderie, interaction and communication with veterans.

Coa has approximately 900 members which includes novice and advanced collectors, students, professional malacologists, museums, libraries, and others from around the us and the world. coa's emphasis is to increase the interest in mollusks through education; to appreciate their beauty; their benefit to ecosystem and mankind; and to promote the preservation of them and their habitats and environment.

The organization owns a fine arts facility housing two theaters, an art gallery, a planetarium and a natural science museum. all promote the arts and sciences in the surrounding communities.

The brazoria county dream center (bcdc) provides avenues of healing to the souls of hurting humanity in brazoria county, tx. we address both the physical and emotional needs of the community. we accomplish this by focusing on rebuilding hope, renewing lives, and restoring dreams.
