Asheville farmstead school exists to foster experiences that unearth the connection between nature, people, and sustainable food sources. by celebrating individual diversity, we lay the foundation for the empathy and kindness needed to create a village of life-long learners. our students learn skills to develop and care for the earth, their fellow humans, and their own education.

Our most significant activities this year took place in honduras. we partnered with new beginning baptist mission. we provided sponsorship for students to attend school and we constructed homes in choluteca, honduras.

To prevent cruelty to animals

To provide educational assistance and technical training for limited resource individuals engaged in value-added food and agricultural production.

To provide fire and rescue services for the citizens of the upper hominy fire district of buncombe county, nc.

To spread the gospel of jesus christ throughout western north carolina by meeting the needs of the hungry, hurting, and forgotten people, and helping others discover the gift of giving.

To provide all citizens with modern emergency service response safely and effectively. the department will provide support and education to the community whereby reducing the rate of injury and property loss. the department will continually strive to improve the services provided to the community and other emergency service agencies.

Rehabilitation of residents with substance and alcohol abuse problems

1. provide christian programming and activities to children and their families in ukraine, ethiopia and western north carolina as we share our love for jesus christ. 2. provide assistance with those individuals with substance and alcohol abuse issues through ministry, community projects, supervision and guidance. 3. provide financial and spiritual support to the elderly, families, those that are affected by substance abuse, disasters and war, and, 4. provide training to equip young people to serve as providers of the services described above. our purpose is derived from the following scriptures: isaiah 58:7 - is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? proverbs 22:6 - train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
