The purpose of addison gilbert society (ags) is to cultivate on-going donor support for the operations of addison gilbert hospital (agh or hospital). as noted below agh is a campus of northeast hospital corp. since its creation, the ags has been an important vehicle for charitable giving to support the agh and the community has responded positively through increased philanthropic investment in the hospital. funds raised by the addison gilbert society support agh's general operations, capital needs and critical programs, all in furtherance of both the ags's and the hospital's missions. ags and agh accomplish these missions in conjunction with the beth israel lahey health (bilh) network of affiliates as described further in this form 990.
