United community centers (ucc) is a social justice driven community center that has been wotking with residents in the east new york (eny) neighborhood of brooklyn for over 60 years. our mission is to work together with residents of all ages and cultures to address our community's challenges, celebrate it strengths, and provide services that improve lives. we have organized and advocated for child care, environmental justice, reproductive justice, imigration, transportation, affordable housing, and food justice.

To provide auxiliary services, such as food services, a bookstore, child care, etc., for the benefit of new york city college of technology campus community.

To promote the quality of community life and jewish culture through a variety of social services, recreational, social education and cultural programs. the h.e.s. is open to all those who wish to participate in the center's varied programs and activities.

The mission of the bha is to engage the brooklyn heights community in maintaining and improving the quality of life in our neighborhood. we regularly act as a go between for neighborhood residents and city agencies, and work to make sure the neighborhood stays safe, clean, and green and we protect against incursion into the historic district.
