Teachers warehouse serves the educational and creative needs of children by obtaining donated supplies and equipment from businesses and individuals and distributing them free to teachers in public schools in brown, greene, lawrence, monroe, and owen counties in indiana.

The language conservancy's mission is to preserve the maximum number of endangered languages in the americas and the world. we believe that all languages have an inherent right to exist-that they are fundamental and irreplaceable facets of a people's culture and humanity's linguistic heritage. the language conservancy (tlc) is dedicated to restoring endangered languages to stability and health, and to document the benefits of language recovery to indigenous communities and individuals. tlc increases international public awareness of language loss and recovery and supports indigenous tribes committed to revitalizing their languages.

Monroe county casa, inc. recruits, trains and supervises court appointed volunteers to advocate for children who are involved in juvenile court due to abuse or neglect. volunteer advocacy is based on the belief that all children are entitled to a safe and permanent home.

At community kitchen our mission is to work, alone and in collaboration with others, to eliminate hunger in monroe county and surrounding areas through direct service, education and advocacy. our philosophy states that community kitchen provides free nutritious meals, nutrition education, referrals to other agencies, and a clean, comfortable social environment for patrons, staff and volunteers. through daily operations and educational outreach, community kitchen works to educate the public about the extent of hunger in monroe county, explain probable causes of hunger, and provide ways to respond to hunger needs.

The pipsqueakery provides care for medically and behaviorally needy rodents, rabbits, and other exotic animals, educates the public on their care, and finds forever homes and rescue placements for healthy adoptable animals.

To support the music education of bloomington high school south students by providing activities and instruction in the diverse styles of choral literature, develop muscianship and specific performance skills through show and classical choir, and foster emotional and social growth by stressing individuality as well as cohesiveness within a productive group capable of making decisions and pursuing lifelong learning.

To reach out to synagogues and evangelical churches in indiana and provide them with tools and resources, technical expertise and peer support to motivate and equip them to serve as models of caring for creation by conserving energy and switching to renewables in their houses of worship and homes.

(beacon) is an indiana not-for-profit corporation. beacon is a social service agency serving bloomington, indiana and surrounding areas. its principle programs involve providing meals and shelter to those in need, assisting people in obtaining necessary housing, healthcare and other social services, offering educational and self-improvement opportunities, and assisting people in obtaining employment.

The mission of the organization is to support regional development opportunities in the 11 counties of southwest central indiana.
