The purpose of the organization is to advance equal access and promote understanding, respect and opportunity for the blind, the visually impaired and the print disabled.

To provide free basic literacy instruction

The organization holds daily food and clothing distribution in public areas in various towns in suffolk county to assist the homeless and economically disadvantaged,while offering them the opportunity to hear about the gospel and develop a relationship with jesus christ

The performing arts center of suffolk county strives to enrich a wide range of communities with quality theatrical experiences through diverse arts, entertainment and educational programs. we endeavour to serve these communities in a fiscally responsible manner, to provide affordable resources to schools and non profit organizations and to ensure the future of the theatrical arts in our region.

Improve the water quality of bellport bay.

To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most in the bellport area and increasingly from the south shore, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. the organization provides child care services to youth ages 3-19 to meet the organizational values of academic achievement, character development and leadership.

To provide library services to the residents of the south country school district.

Church of god-hold regligious services - servicing community

To maintain and operate a cemetery.

Scls is designated by the nys dept of education to provide services and pass thru grant and aid to member libraries located in suffolk county.
