The foundation exists for the purpose of raising and providing funds to gage county, ne organizations engaged in providing the educational, cultural, recreational, historical, health and all meaningful needs of the citizens of gage county ne.

The mary ymca is a chartiable, community service organization that includes men, women, and children of all ages, abilities, incomes, races, and religions. we are dedicated to building strong kids, strong families, and a strong community by putting christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all who participate. the ymca promotes healthy lifestyles, strong values, in caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. everyone is welcome at our ymca, regardless of the inability to pay. no youth will ever be denied membership or programs for this reason. our ymca was founded and is led by a volunteer board from our community; they also serve as coaches, and are the backbone of our organization.

The primary purpose of the foundation is to receive gifts and bequests to support healthcare in gage county, ne.

The society is given the duty to operate the gage county fair grounds and to conduct the annual county fair for the benefit of the community, county, and residents. the fair provides entertainment and awards participants for their participation in various judged competitions involving livestock and other agricultural products. the society also sponsors race car events for culture and entertainment for the residents of the county.

The gage county historical society collects, preserves, and interprets artifacts and archival materials related to the history of gage county and holds them in trust for present and future generations
