It is the purpose of the douglas county public library to provide all individuals andgroups with an organized collection of books, films, recordings and othe materials pertinent to advancing an enlightend citizenship and to enrich personal lives

Provides work experience and training to handicapped citizens and coordinates service with community agencies to promote the understanding of the employability of handicapped workers.
