The oregon extension (oe) is an undergraduate college program in southern oregon offering a 17 credit semester of coursework that is accredited through a formal relationship with eastern mennonite university in harrisonburg, va. the oe draws students from a variety of colleges to study for a semester in a mountain setting where students study intensively in 3-week blocks, with interludes between allowing for immersion experiences of forest fieldwork, backpacking, and an urban plunge.
