We support teachers of american history, government and civics, believing they do the most important work in america. we help them bring the documents and debates of americas past into the present through free document-based seminars, document collections both online and in print, and other resources. we are dedicated to making every american history, government, and civics class in america its best.

To improve and serve as a leader for change in ashland county by uniting the caring power of our community. the united way of ashland county, inc. exists to distribute donated funds to community agencies. it is the general goal to distribute as much of the donated funds as reasonably possible. these donations are the life-blood of many of the community agencies that receive these gifts. the united way of ashland county strives to measurably improve the quality of people's lives by bringing the community together to effectively address human need and potential. this is achieved by working collaboratively with other organizations and partner agencies, organized labor, other non- profits, foundations, education, government, and businesses to create community impact by investing in programs that deal immediately with people's short-term needs while working on long-term solutions to the challenges facing individuals and families.

We provide hope and practical assistance with compassionate accountability to help people overcome life controlling issues through the power of jesus christ. preparing men and women on government assistance programs and those re-entering society from the jails and prisons to be trained for meaningful employment.

To assist in providing elementary and high school level christian education to children of the dominican republic, united states, and abroad. also to aid, assist, and support the fostering of low income housing locally in the us by consulting on local projects.

The mission of hospice is to make available to ashland, richland and knox counties highly skilled, flexible, comprehensive care to terminally ill patients in their final days of life. hospice, which coordinates its services with other community caregivers, also assists in the grief process and bereavement support of family members of these patients.
