The purpose of the association shall be the encouragement of agriculture, horticulture, and homemaking by associations for the maintenance of public fairs and exhibits of stock and farm products in grimes county, texas, by the youth of grimes county, and to award scholarships to the youth of grimes county.

Grimes county animal rescue's mission is to build and operate an animal shelter for grimes county. we started construction of the building in late 2022 and it was completed in 2023.
