The new york state association of independent schools promotes the independence, well-being and public understanding of, and respect for, new york independent schools and serves as an accrediting body chartered by the new york state board of regents.

Identifying the common and unique problems of the large city school systems and to promote the solution of those problems, provide our members, which represent the interests of over one million school children, with information and to provide relevant information to those helping to solve urban school problems.

Promoting excellence in child nutrition.

1) intervention in crisis situations experienced by persons found homeless, stranded or at risk of becoming homeless; 2) stabilization through case management services; 3) respond to needs for the poor, homeless, mentally ill, disabled, and victims of domestic violence.

The girl scouts of northeastern new york (gsneny) is the leading girl-focused organization in northeastern new york. gsneny's mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. we are one of one hundred and ten councils nationwide that comprise girl scouts usa and a member of the world association of girl guides and girl scouts.

The organization's mission is to raise, develop, and manage resources, and to communicate to and with the public regarding the daughters of sarah community for seniors' community programs and initiatives. this is accomplished by conducting fundraising and knowledge awareness programs, and by issuing grants to the daughters of sarah nursing center, inc. and the daughters of sarah housing company, inc., d/b/a the massry residence at daughters of sarah.

The legal project provides access to the protections of the law to advance the safety, stability and independence of the people we serve and strengthen our communities. we do this by advising, advocating for and representing people who have traditionally had difficulty obtaining civil legal assistance.

To provide high quality, effective legal representation and assistance to indigent prisoners, to help them to secure their civil and human rights, and to advocate for more humane prisons and for a more humane criminal justice system.
