To protect and advance the practice of veterinary medicine, and to maintain high ethical standards within the profession and to promote integrity, honor and courtesy among the members of the profession

To construct and operate dormitory facilities to be occupied by students attending the state university of new york at albany.

To support and preserve irish, scottish and other celtic cultural activities in the capital district. significant activities include operation and maintenance of celtic hall, a 22,500 sf cultural center, subsidizing celtic music and dance programs, and participating in local cultural parades and festivals.

The association's mission is to foster educational opportunities for students of thestate university of new york at albany by making grants direct grants or loans to individuals to enable them to meet the expenses of higher education.

Contractual agreement with state university of new york to provide food and auxiliary services to faculty, staff and students at the university of albany.

To provide housing and auxiliary facilities for aged persons of low income, and to this end to plan, acquire, construct, own, maintain and operate such housing and auxiliary facilities.

To acquire, develop and operate facilities which will function as small business incubators for minorities, women and other disadvantaged small business owners in the capital region of new york state.

To support approved biomedical research and development activities at the samuel s. stratton va medical center.

Day care center

A licensed outpatient center providing individual, family and group counseling for persons involved with, but not limited to, substance abuse, chronic unemployment, educational problems and criminal or anti-social behavior.

To provide a comprehensive range of services to developmentally or neurologically impaired persons of all ages.
